Hello,

I like the email confirmation I get from running my rsync via DeltaCopy, but I have a dilema. When I run a DCP within a batch file it does not pause the batch while it runs. It kicks off the rsync and then continues the batch immediately. This is problematic since I am stopping database services to get a consistent backup of a database and I do not want them to start back up until it finishes.

That problem can be fixed by running the rsync command within the batch, instead, but then I do not get the nice pretty email from Deltacopy with the details of what was backed up (or not backed up) and the success/failure.

Is there a way to either get it to pause in the command line interface while it runs, or else use some flag within a batch to wait for it to finish? (I thought of trying to query if rsync is a process from the batch using pstools, but if you are running the server rsync is always running, and if you have multiple jobs that would not work, either, because you don't know when your job finishes).
