Hi, I am having problem connecting to the Delta Copy Server from a client machine. It is a local network, and I have the port 873 forwarded on the router. I put the host machine ip on the deltacopy client, but it never connects. It gives me a Connection refused 111 error. I have tried the telnet on the server machine, but it never connects. Also, for the background rsync process, I never have been able to make that come up on the server machine. I am running Windows Vista 32 bit edition with service pack 2, and I have installed deltacopy server to the C:// directory not in the Program Files directory.

Make sure there is no firewall between the client and service that has port 873 blocked (including your windows personal firewall).
I can telnet to my DeltaCopy service remotely (to test that the port is open at least). If the service isn't running, the connection will also be refused. I know this, because I tried telneting to port 873 before I had the service actually running, and even though the port was open on the firewall, because the service wasn't running, it appeared blocked.
